Lesson 44 : Forever F4

Fang Jie
F4's skyrocketed to fame has left them with many insecurities...On Feng Mian Ren Wu, Fang Jie asks Jerry why he carries such a large bag...

Fang Jie: "You're really weird! Are the other F4 like this?"
Jerry: "Yes! We are all like this."
Fang Jie: "Is because they learn from you?"
Jerry: "Vanness' bag is even bigger than mine!"

Fang Jie reasons that it's because they lack a feeling of security. Big bags are like hats, it can make them hide inside, it's a tool for facing the outside world...it's a way of protecting themselves!

Xiao Yan Jie
She has another view on this...
XYJ: "Ken is probably out of the most active of the four, in terms of the way that he is their spokesperson...would u say this is true Ken?"
Ken: "Not really..."
XYJ: "Or is it because they don't like to talk?"
Ken: "At first it was because they said they get nervous... I was more used to it... so I always had to have a mike in hand...but now...they are less nervous... and we share it around."

Four People, One Heart
Not only has ZZ openly admitted that F3 is the best thing about showbiz... even Ken admitted at Music Party that he feels the same way by thanking the F3's parents for giving him three great brothers.

Jerry once said: "I think that the four of us must have some special connection in the past life, so that in this lifetime, they managed to group for one film and faced so many of life's first times together... we are really great together. When we first met, there was just something there already... reading the script together, getting the director mad together and receiving scoldings together... even trying to catch up sleep together..."

When Vanness returned from LA to Taiwan, he could feel the loneliness. The workload sometimes can put lots of pressure on Vanness and he is thankful that F3 would always offer their hand of friendship when he's in need. "They allow me to feel the warmth of friendship." Vanness says.

Vanness also said: "Often when I read reports on the newspaper or see our posters when walking out on the street, that feeling you get when F4 sees F4 it's just like seeing four great friends together. We are four very different people yet bonded by this unique friendship to share our happiness and pains. Due to our busy personal schedules, we don't often see each other, so when we see ourselves on the paper, it's like saying hi to a friend."

Ken accentuates that despite the rumours that's going around, "Our relationship has passed many tests along the way, the little bits and pieces are things not everyone would see. As long as we know where we stand in each other's hearts...that's the important thing."

Growing Up Together
Ken: "That's right...after being with them for over a year, I am certain about one thing... they have all been my teachers."
XYJ: "It is because you can learn things from them?"
Ken: "I have learn so much from the three of them."

THE WORLD MAY CHANGE..BUT F4 DOES NOT... Jerry once said: "No matter how long the group F4 will stay around, we will always be the best of friends. Even when we are older, we would always be F4 in each other's eyes."
