Lesson 70 : F4 and Unhappiness: Lonliness and Support

When they are unhappy, who do they turn to?

Jerry
Jerry: "I'm very sad that I have less friends now, it's because I have entered show biz. The break times for everyone are difference hence there's less opportunity for us to get together....somethings you just can't say to your friends, in the case they accidently tell someone...it will become rumours again."

Jerry: "When I'm working and I get sick or feel bad, I don't really want to go home because I don't want mum to worry about me. I rather lie to her and say I'm busy. If mym sees me the way I am, she would feel really sad. She would see me on tv and ask: 'How come you are so thin?' I would just answer that it makes me look better on camera. I remember when I was on Taozi' show...I was really sad, Tao Zi was really sad...my mum saw it and called me saying that if I'm so unhappy, then just [give up]...yeah...I feel really unfilial. I shouldn't let my mum know about my pressures. I just want her to be happy.
Yong: "So you don't talk to your mum because..."
Jerry: "I don't want her to worry."
Yong: "How do you face all the hardships?"
Jerry: "Well...my mum's she over reacts. When I say something, she would over react. If I say, I'm unhappy, she would think I'm unhealthy...I'm ...so I just don't want her to think too much. I want her to know when I'm happy, for her to share in my happiness. The rest I want to face myself. I'm still growing, I should learn to handle all the pressure myself."

Vanness
Vanness says that when he's tired, he would become homesick.
Vanness says: "I though I would be happy but I'm not."

Vanness said that he only put his faith in Christianity after coming to Taiwan. When he was filming << Meteor Garden >>, he just broke up with his girlfriend. When he goes home, there was no tv, no stereo, no telephone...lying in bed, tears would flow...then naturally, he would pray to God.

Vanness also said that when he called his sister from work, upon hearing her voice, tears came pouring out. He didn't expect himself to rocket to fame so rapidly...

There has been losses but also lots of gain, XYJ said that the Vanness now can never go back to the that Vanness in the past. But Vanness says that he really wants to return to that old way of life...

What has Vanness lost?
Vanness: "Family and friends..."

Zai Zai
After going to high school, ZZ's life changed, his parents got divorced.
ZZ: "I used to be stuck on my mum, I would say everything to her. When they got divorced, I kept everything to myself..."

Happiness?
ZZ: "Happy, because we have so many supportive fans. The most memorably event during the concert tour would be in Cheng Du. That day, the rain was really quite heavy, but they were still there, cheering us on. I almost wanted to cry."

Jerry: "This concert tour has been really interesting and fun. When we get to be so close to our fans, we really see how supportive they are. It gives you strength to go on."
Jerry: "When I'm unhappy, I would talk to F3. They often agree with me on lots of things but they don't take is as seriously as I do. They would think that some things are not as bad as it seems, the company is doing what they think is good for us...it then makes me think again about things."

Ken: "When I'm in a bad mood, I would talk to Vanness..."

ZZ likes to draw...when he's moody.
"Xiao ZZ, how are you? I draw that character the most, especially when I'm happy or very sad."
ZZ, hope you are happy when you draw Little ZZ. Maybe even draw something for your 3 bros!
