Fears at an early age
ZZ was afraid he would have bad eye sight...why?
ZZ says it's because throughout his studies, he got bad results that's why he maintained good eye sight. With good eye sight, he can see beautiful girls, that's why he want to keep it that way. If he had bad eye sight, he would lose the enjoyment of seeing hot girls!

What is ZZ afraid of now?
Ghosts
ZZ is known for his fear of watching horror movies. One day, he was in his room watching DVD. He suddenly shouted: "Ken! Ken! Come in quick!" Ken rushed in, ZZ was sitting there...pointing to the tv screen, stuttering: "Explosion!" The movie? Speed...how scary could that have been?

ZZ won't admit that he's a scaredy-cat. He says that everyone is afraid of ghosts. The scariest movie he's seen is some Japanese ghost movie. He was so scared that he had nightmares of the scenes for days after watching it.

Afraid of not graduating:
After entering China Tech School, ZZ has been scared that he won't be able to keep up with the work.

"It's all about time, there's work and school. I don't want to give up school. it's better to learn more now. That's why I want to graduate. Everyone at school is older than me, I treat me as their little brother! I want to thank them for their help!"

ZZ's afraid of not waking up
ZZ is a heavy sleeper. He's known for this. He only gets to to sleep for 2-3 hours a day. He's afraid that workers won't be able to wake him. That's why when there's only 3 hours to sleep, he'd rather not sleep. Why? Because if he does sleep, you won't be able to wake him up with 80 phone calles, you have to use boxing and violence to break down his front door. To avoid the expense of replacing his door too often, he'd rather not sleep!

ZZ afraid of talking to a girl?
ZZ's most afraid of saying "Wo men shang chuang ba!" or "Chuan shang zai shuo." etc...In MG, the girl who played Jing laughed until she was in tears when filming with ZZ. When they filmed the scene on the ship - upon seeing Jing, ZZ would say "wo men shang chuang(bed) ba" rather than "chuan" (ship)

Director for << Love Storm >> said: "ZZ would have footnotes on his script with prounouciations. When I asked him why, he looked at me for 3 seconds and then told me not to mind his business...I only realised then that I asked the wrong question!"

ZZ's afraid of getting tanned
GYP: What are you interest?
ZZ: I like playing computer games, playing basketball..but because I easily get tanned, I don't play in Summer.
GYP: You afraid of getting tanned? Don't guys like getting tanned?
ZZ: When I'm tanned, I look thinner, I'm already very thin...

Scare of getting blemishes
Question: You often each Xiang Ji Pai?
ZZ: Ok lah...I don't eat that often, but ...ok...I used to eat one a day...
Question: Now McDonald is the substitute...scared of getting pimples?
ZZ: Yes! But i'm Ok...but I get it on my back...yeah.

Scared of not seeing his grandchildren
ZZ says that he wants to get married by 25 years old. He wants to have children and be a grandfather. He's afraid he won't live long enough to see his grand children.
He also said that he would force his son to have get married at 18...that way he can have grandchildren.

Ken: People might sue you!
ZZ: Why? It's not me that's doing it at 18!
