Fears at an early age
Jerry's afraid of the doctor:
"Our family has always been afraid of going to see the doctor. If you need an operation, it will cost lots but we don't have that kind of money."

What is Jerry afraid of now?
Jerry is super sensitive and is afraid of lots of things... maybe he should just relax!

Afraid of Being Misunderstood
"What I'm most afraid of is that something becomes reports in newspapers when they never actually happened."

Jerry: "I'm actually pretty scared. I'm afraid that people will think I'm conceited and all that..."

Jerry Afraid That No On Will Turn Up to His Autograph Session
This is a classic... but seriously... what the?

JACK: Any pressure?
Jerry: Pressure? Yes... I'm afraid that when my album comes out... no one will come to the autograph session... *laughs* Afraid that people might have forgotten me by then... no one buying my album... so there's lots of pressure... *laughs*

What the? I'm sure lots of here... Mish, Kev just to name 2, will definitely turn up! And me... if I'm anywhere near the place... hehe

Afraid of Going Back to the Past
"In his memory...he must continue working and studying. Staying at Tao Yuan but studying in Taipei. It takes him 2-3 hours just to get to school... then he must go to work afterwards. Finishing work at 10pm, by the time he gets home, he doesn't have much time to sleep."

Jerry: "I'm scared of that kind of life... I tend to look down on myself and get angry at myself. Everything requires money and everything is valued in monetary terms."

Afraid That Fans Like Him More Than F3
Some people went to all 3 concerts in Singapore and Malaysia and noticed that Jerry is afraid that 2 things will happen:

1) When the four are on stage and Jerry fans loudly scream out his name, he would look really awkward and uncomfortable. He would even at times pretend he can't hear them and not respond. Other times, he would look for the source and once he finds the group, he would awkardly shake his head - indicating for them not to call out his name.

2) When they four are on stage, Jerry hopes that Jerry fans would raise F4 banners and not Xu banners. Some people gathered the experience that when F4 were on stage and fans started waving Jerry posters and banners - Jerry's reaction would be to point towards those fans and then wave his finger left and right in front of his chest to signal for them not to do that.

Some fans even said that Jerry personally told one fan that he doesn't want people's attention to be focused on him when F4 are on stage. He often says that F4 is a group, he doesn't want people to view them as individuals.

Fear of Not Improving
Yong: "Will you be scared that maybe one day less people than now will like you?"
Jerry: "I'm very scared because maybe they think I'm not good enough. It's not about whether they like me or not, but whether they think I'm improving when they think of me."
