Lesson 77 : Vanness' Student Life

Foreign Student Vanness
Did you know that Vanness actually went to Chinese school? He left Taiwan after finishing kindergarten and studied in the US and Taiwan for the first few years before finally steadying down to study in America after Year 3-4.

Studying overseas is so much more relaxing. Vanness' results has always been above mediocre. He would try his best in all exams so if he didn't do well, there's nothing to regret about.

Vanness: "I remember in high school, there was a marine biology class, the teacher kepted a tank of salt water fish. You can just use normal tap water for it, so when I went fishing I brought back a large bag of sea water. The teacher was so pleased he gave me bonus marks. I was so excited that I would always go fishing and once i caught a small shark and the teacher gave me extra 50 points, so I passed that class in flying colours!"

Such encouraging tactics are often seen in school in the west. Wonder if Vanness got extra marks from Miss Kim for singing fluently in Korean in << Star Runner >>?
