Lesson 79 : ZZ's Student Life

Student Wan Zi
Out of F4, the only remaining student is ZZ. Hard isn't it? Hope they keep his schedule light so he can study more!

ZZ insists on keeping a student profile but with his popularity, his work schedule is jam packed, finding it hard to find time to study. "It's a problem of time, work is so busy and it's really affecting my studies. But I don't want to give up, I hope to learn as much as possible now. Hence, I will try as hard as I can to finish my studies. Of course, it's hard to coordinate with my work time table but no matter what, I will not give up. All of my class mates are older than me, they don't treat me any differently just because I'm an artist, rather they see me as their little brother or child and look after me. I'd like to thank them for their help!"

Primary school ZZ
When I graduated from primary school, I was only 147cm and sat in the front row. But then the teacher became smaller and smaller, because I grew about 19cm every holiday - I was growing faster than the trees at school

High School ZZ In my third year, I had a really good English teacher, his temper was so god. Everytime we had to memorise something, we would line up for our turn. If you do it badly, you just had to say: "Sorry, I haven't memorised it yet." The teacher would give you another chance later.

One day, it was my turn, but the person sitting next to me was saying these super duper jokes. I was half laughing and half talking: "Sorry, I haven't memorised it yet." The teacher slapped me twice. I was very sad and the whole room went silent.

The teacher was very nice, he called me after class to tell me not to laugh like that in the future. I agreed and said that I would not listen to jokes in English class.

Senior High ZZ
Like Hua Ze Lei, ZZ was loved by everyone at school. He would always climb onto the bars and find girls circling around him. When it was Valentines Day, ZZ would have an endless supply of chocolate. What's more, even if he was taking a nap on his desk, there would be a desk full of presents for him when he wakes up. "Once, when I fell asleep and heard someone put something on my desk, I immediately jumped up to chase but didn't catch them...strange really." This is because ZZ sat near the window and his classroom was right next to the stair case, that's why ZZ can never catch the 'villain'.

The most memorable present was Andy Lau's <> video cassette. Living next to the schoo, ZZ jumped over the walls and told his brother to watch with him.

ZZ: "Once in an exam for statistics, there were so many formulas to remember and I practised lots at home. I was very worried that I would fail. Then, the next day, I forgot to bring my calculator to the exam, of course, that exam went down the drain."

Da Zhuan : ZZ
ZZ was meant to be a long jun but ended up at Technology School doing management. This was the start of his tiring life as an artist and student.

Once, Jerry was filming near his school and used his free time to check up on Zz. Jerry was wearing a cap and stuck his head through the window so ZZ would see him. ZZ was not at all happy and wanted to him to leave by waving his head. Jerry didn't move, ZZ shouted: "Go lah!" This scared everyone, ZZ explained: "Lucky it was during class, if it was after class, there would be lots of trouble, it's very dangerous!"

Sleep King: ZZ
He looked at the Professor with tired eyes...it all became a blur. The chubby professor because a line and suddenly, he saw his name on the blackboard..it was like waking up to a nightmare.

"Today, the professor said that giving away pillow cases with your CD violates the theory of economics." ZZ said to his promo assistant. "He used it as an example today with lots of formulae."

"If you get a question like that in your final exam, that would be great coz you would know it well." Assisant said to ZZ's 10cm wide open mouthed yawn.

"What are we doing next?" ZZ asked, it was already 10 pm.

"There's a photo shoot til 1 and you have to get up at 6 in the morning to film MTV."

The taxi parked on the side of the curb but the short-legged assist could not reach over the puddle to get into the taxi. A big pair of hands from behind lifted her up and put her in the taxi.

"I don't think I will sleep, in case I don't wake up." ZZ said as he got in the car.

"No, tomorrow's a full day. You go to the hotel to sleep and we will wake you tomorrow morning." Assistant responded.

ZZ said it was bad for him that he can only sleep for 2 hours but it was worse for his assistant, as she could not wake him up! She was trying to wake him up screaming like a fire alarm. She couldn't call out his name, just scream outside his window: "Hello! Get up! Hello!!". The whole street could hear, except fo him.

"80 unanswered calls! Hehe!" ZZ amused once he was awake. He had a good sleep but didn't dare look at anyone in the eye.

Another time, the female assistant. She yawned as she pressed the door bell to ZZ's room. Once, and he answered the door, welcoming her with an even bigger yawn.
"I didn't dare sleep last night." ZZ said as he went to get his bad. By the time he showered last night, it was already 3am, read his notes and thought about his favourite computer games...didn't dare sleep!

In class:
"Does anyone remember what we talked about last lecture..." ZZ was already fast asleep.

After a year of hassles, ZZ's work and school schedule is finally on track and going smoothly!

Class dismissed!
