City of Sky – Xiao Tian’s Castles

Vic’s ambition to challenge split personality has been fulfilled – MARS was broadcast. Jerry’s long working on his solo album has also fulfilled his fan’s dream. Vanness’s secluded creation in US will also be seen very soon. Only Xiao Tian, hiding in his castle quietly. I always feel that Xiao Tian has a very special elegance that couldn’t be found in others. From internal to external, you will realize it, this is probably because he remained steadfast in his principles. It makes me feel that there is a little strength within the very gentle and elegant outlook of Xiao Tian. His persistency is probably seen in how he is guarding his ‘castle’.

Please do not disturb

Xiao Tian loves photography hence once he has the time he will take his camera everywhere capturing beautiful shots. He is just excited when he has the opportunity to take beautiful pictures with his camera while traveling around on his filming career. This time his role as ‘Bing Fei’ in the new film coincidently is also a photographer cum reporter. Both Xiao Tian and ‘Bing Fei’ do not just want to capture beautiful pictures but to capture pictures that could tell a story. They want to have story telling pictures, thus we cannot disagree that Xiao Tian is an artist that have his own thoughts. To him, the person that takes the picture and the person within must create a very special relation and should be respected.

In this new film, there were rumors about Xiao Tian’s snobbishness, saying that if he found any one else beyond his shooting team taking pictures he will boycott the show. However we could not just look at the surface of things. This was because it will interrupt the filming progress of the show, I personally felt that this thought is totally acceptable. Does anyone like to be interrupted when you are concentrating or focusing on what you were doing? This is like what he ever said, during interviews he would prefer that photo-taking time is photo-taking time and interview time is interview time, this will be more organized and allow him to put on his best for the reporters. In his ‘castle’, he has this very organized and focus characteristic. Thus, I believe he would like to put up the ‘Please do not disturb’ sign outside his filming environment.

Understanding the Culture

A person who likes photography will certainly likes traveling. The best part about being an artist for Xiao Tian is, he could travel around meeting different types of people and understanding their cultures. I always felt that besides the professionally elegant look of Xiao Tian, he is a very talented and a person with lots of inner thoughts. He always knows about his own thoughts well and clearly understands what he is doing. Just like every time when he has the opportunity to travel out, he has an objective. He wants to increase his knowledge thus the places he wants to visit is never the museum or hotel cafeteria but the local markets. To him visiting the local market tells him a lot of stories about the place, the people’s lifestyles. The different types of people in the market and the character within gives a true representation of the place and society. “Right, whenever I reached a country or a new place, I will always visit their local market first, see what they eat, what they use, than try to understand why they eat certain food, the way they eat them, I find these topic very interesting. The same type of food but it is eaten in various different ways in various different places, very interesting. To me, the understanding of this is one way of increasing my knowledge. This will help me to reflect on my own society, realizing the pros and cons of it.” We can tell that Xiao Tian is a very responsible person. His thoughts are extraordinary, thoughts that will never occur in an ordinary person. Probably because of this special thought of Xiao Tian, from the beginning of this show, he was awarded the title of the Environmental Friendly Ambassador of Xi Shuan Ban Na. And this show does carry a lot of very important environmental friendly concepts and thoughts in it. Xiao Tian hopes that he could convey or relate these positive concepts, knowledge and thoughts via his acts in the show to the public. One day, we will probably see his wonderful photography collections in his exclusive photography album!

By-gone pressures

‘F4’ is an honored title to the 4 brothers but it has also brought upon pressures, which they have never experience or thought about. Fortunately, the 4 different characteristics of them had learnt how to use their very own ways to turn these pressures into positive force to push themselves forward. Everyone could see their effort. Xiao Tian says: “Everyone knows that when we exist, we were not professionals but just that everyone likes us. Thus, these few years we have been learning diligently, learning to improve, how to become a professional, how to put our very best for the audiences, when our fans see our improvement, we will feel that we have not let them down and let ourselves down.” Xiao Tian said that there was a period of time when he had sleepless nights and very unhappy. However, having seen the very hardworking Xiao Tian in City of Sky, his fans can relax now. The 25-year-old Xiao Tian is definitely more mature than his age, no one can make him unhappy now, and he wanted to prove that to himself, no connection to fame and popularity, having passed through the pressure, we saw a stronger Xiao Tian.
