San Cai

Played By : Big S a.k.a Barbie Hsu Description : San Cai is a poor and ordinary girl who goes to a rich school, Ying De Universaty. It's hard for her parents to pay the tuition, but San Cai's parents are always dreaming about San Cai getting to know a rich boyfriend so she is stuck going to Ying De. She is very strong and has a mind of her own.

Dao Ming Si

Played By : Jerry Yan Description : Dao Ming Si is the leader of F4 and has a really bad temper. His favorite phrase is "If all conflicts were over with a "I'm sorry," we wouldn't need the police." His hair is always curled up and only comes back down when it's wet.

Hua Ze Lei

Played By : Vic Zhou Description : Hua Ze Lei is the shy and quiet one of F4. He is the mysterious type which attracted San Cai to like him. The one he loves is Jing, but in the end she leaves for France. In the end it seems like he finally is over Jing and likes San Cai, but it was too late because he know Dao Ming Si really loves her, but he is a very good friend of San Cai.

Mei Zhou

Played By : Vanness Wu Description : Mei Zhou is the more playful and joker of F4 and he values friendship. He doesn't really have much of a part in Meteor Garden I.

Xi Men

Played By : Ken Zhu Description : Xi Men is the lady-killer of the four. He has a new girlfriend every week. But when Xiao You, San Cai's friend, confesses her love for him he changes a bit. (But they are never together)

Qing He

Played By : Edward Au Description : Qing He is one of San Cai's middle school classmate/friend who has become rich and entered Yind De University. He likes San Cai, but she never knows this.

Xiao You

Played By : Rainie Yang Description : Xiao You is one of San Cai's close friends. She works at the bakery with San Cai and also falls in love with Xi Men.

Teng Tang Jing

Played By : Winnie Qian Description : Jing is Hua Ze Lei's love. She has known F4 since she was a child and is good friends with F4. She is very pretty and smart. But during her birthday party she announces that she will be going back to France and forever help the poor. She even cuts her long hair.

Li Zhen

Played By : N/A Description : Li Zhen is like the only one at Ying De University who actually does work and learns. She is probably San Cai's only friend at Ying De until Qing He comes along. She seems like a really nice girl and San Cai even stood up for her and in the end got herself (San Cai) in a lot of trouble with F4. But in the end she betrays San Cai.

Dao Ming Feng

Played By : Zhen Xiu Zhen Description : Dao Ming Feng is Dao Ming Si's mother. She lives in New York with Dao Ming Si's father, but comes back for Dao Ming Si's birthday party. She is known too be a mean lady and everyone knows that she will definately not allow a lower class girl become the wife of her only son.
