Xi Men looked towards Xiao You and just took a sip of his drink.Meanwhile, a man approaches Xiao You.
Man: "Miss, are you here by yourself?"
Xiao You: "I'm alone."
Man: "Then can I sit down?"

Xi Men presses the "play" button of his answering machine.
Message 1: "Xi Men, it's Angela. Why haven't you called me?"
Message 2: "Xi Men, it's Julie. (in a very whiny voice) Why haven't you come by to see me?"
Message 3: "Xi Men. It's me, Xiao Gen."
Xi Men slowly turns around when he hears Xiao Gen's message.
Xiao Gen: "I want you to come to a place. (Xi Men looks like he's in deep thought) Tomorrow morning at 5:00, come to the rooftop of a building. You have to come. I want to show you something. The address is at Ji Long Road, 1st Section..."
Xi Men reaches for the machine and stops the message before he can hear the entire address.He looks distressed. He sighs. 
Xi Men's voice over: "It's nothing. (closes his eyes) If I don't go, then Xiao Gen and I will return to like before and nothing will change."
Xi Men is sitting in a lotus position on the edge of his bed. He's looking at the phone and machine. When he sees his cell phone, he grabs it and calls someone.
Xi Men: "Hello? May. Where are you? (pauses) I'll come over and see you, okay? (pauses) Okay...see you later. Bye bye. "(He hangs up the phone)

Dawn is once again about to break. There's a woman on a bed sleeping on her stomach. Xi Men walks to side table and slowly picks up his watch. ("Here we are" is playing in the background) Xi Men is holding his watch while taking a long bath in a tub. The watch reads 5:00. He wipes the watch with his right thumb. A bead of sweat trickles from his forehead to his nose. He places the watch beside him.

Xiao Gen is standing on the rooftop, alone, staring at the clear blue skies.

Xi Men's silver CK watch reads 7:25. He's still in the tub, eyebrows furrowed while looking outside. He looks away and looks pained.

Xi Men is walking, hands in his pockets, in their garden.

Xi Men's voice over: "It's nothing."

He stops when he sees Xiao Gen standing nearby. A smile escapes his lips and his face lightens. Xiao Gen looks at him with a forced smile. She looks tired, hurt and teary-eyed.
Xiao Gen (forcing a smile on her lips and voice): "Did you get my message?"
Xi Men (looks a bit uncomfortable and looks down): "I did. (looks at Xiao Gen again) But I already had a date with someone. Sorry about that."
Xiao Gen (looks down): "I see."
Xi Men (speaks loudly and in a joking voice): "Asking me to go there at 5:00 AM is really too early. (looks down for a while and then looks at Xiao Gen again) You weren't waiting for me there all this time..."
Xiao Gen could only smile sadly. She's still looking down. Her silence affirmed that she did indeed waited for him.

Xiao You's voice over (turns a page and takes her pen. Her voice sounds very decisive): "No. I must try harder. "
(She crosses off names of buildings.)
Xiao You enters another building. She pushes open a door and climbs the staircase. A huge swimming pool is on the center. 
Xiao You's voice over (sighs): "This is the last building. (looks around) What exactly will I see?" (She takes out her phone and looks at the time.)
Xiao You: "It's almost 5 o'clock. "(keeps looking around)
Dawn has arrived; the sun is about to shine. Xiao You looks desperate already.
Xiao You: "I don't see anything. (looks at her phone brokenly) It's hopeless. (She turns around to walk away when 
her eyes catch something. She smiles happily. She looks joyful to the point of almost being in tears.)"
Xiao You's voice over: "Xi Men, I found it. (She's still staring at the skies. She looks absolutely happy and radiant.)"

Qing He is walking down a concrete stairs. His cell phone rings.
Qing He (looks at the name on the phone and answers it): "Xiao You? Xiao You, you're back!"
Xiao You (standing near a store): "Qing He, I called so many times. I finally found you."
Qing He (still descending from the stairs): "No, I was in a class so I turned it off. Does San Cai know you're back? She's not at school; she's working."
Xiao You: "Oh, I know. I know that she's at work. Qing He, have you seen Xi Men at school?"
Qing He: "Xi Men? Nope. I haven't seen F4 in school today. Xiao You, why did you return from Canada?"
Xiao You: "Qing He, I'm sorry. We'll meet and talk another day. I have something urgent to do. If you see Xi Men, you must tell him that I'm looking for him. (2 people are descending the steps behind Qing He.) Sorry to trouble you."
Qing He: "You're looking for Xi Men? What do you want Xi Men for? (The people descending from the stairs are actually Dao Ming Si and Mei Zuo. Mei Zuo whacks Qing He on the head. The guys start walking again.) Xiao You, hang on."
Qing He (running after F2): Mei Zuo! Dao Ming Si!
Dao Ming Si: "What are you hollering for?"
Qing He: "Nothing! Have you seen Xi Men today? (brings the phone to his ear again) Xiao You is looking for him."
Dao Ming Si (Mei Zuo takes out his phone and starts dialing): "Xi Men? I haven't seen him all day."
Qing He (talks to Xiao You): "Xiao You, hang on, Mei Zuo is helping you look. Are you well? Your voice sounds a bit strange."
Xiao You (smiles and speaks in a soft voice): "I'm well, Qing He."
Mei Zuo: "Can't find him. I called his house and cell phone. No one is answering."
Qing He (to Xiao You): "Mei Zuo couldn't find him."
Mei Zuo (takes the phone from Qing He):" Hi, Xiao You. It's Mei Zuo. I think Xi Men will go to a couple of places. I'll help you look for him."
Xiao You: "Thank you."
Mei Zuo ends the call and hands the phone to Qing He.
Dao Ming Si: "Xiao You came back from Canada. It looks serious."
Qing He only shrugs.
Mei Zuo: "Let's go. Whatever the reason is, I will find Xi Men for her. "
(starts walking again)
Qing He (scratches his head in confusion): "What are you guys talking about? Why don't I ever understand? "
(scratches his head)

Mei Zuo is walking back to his red Ferrari. Dao Ming Si is sitting on the passenger seat. Mei Zuo enters the car and fastens his seatbelt.
Dao Ming Si: "Well, did you find him? (Mei Zuo shakes his head.) We'll try the next one." (Mei Zuo drives away. The tires screeches.)

Mei Zuo enters a bar. He approaches the bartender.
Mei Zuo: "Tony, right?"
Tony: "Yeah."
Mei Zuo: "Have you seen Xi Men recently?"
Tony: "No, I haven't seen him in a long time."
Mei Zuo: "Okay, thanks. "(walks out of the bar)
Tony: "Bye."

Xi Men and Hua Ze Lei are in a bar. Xi Men's face is propped on the table. He looks like he's somewhere else.

Lei:: "Xi Men"
Xi Men (still not moving): "Hmmm..."
Lei:: "I heard that Xiao You came back from Canada for you."
Xi Men (slowly raises his head only to hide his face.): "Don't say anything (moans)."
Lei::" Isn't there a slightest chance? You can pretend to an outsider, but I know that you have been adrift for a long time."
Xi Men (raises his head and props his right arm):"It's like Qing He's situation with San Cai. (looks at Lei, his head supported by his propped arm) San Cai once liked you. (Lei looks down) Then, she liked Ah Sz. But Qing He's attitude towards San Cai has not changed. But we all know that it is an impossibility, right?"
Lei:(looks at Xi Men): "You don't need to use Qing He as an example. He's got his own attractive qualities. "
Xi Men:" What I mean to say is that for me, it's the same with Xiao You. (sighs) I already have some ideas. "
Lei::" Ideas?"
Xi Men: "Like not answering her calls, trying to avoid her, and being a bit meaner to her. "(Lei takes a sip of his drink. Xi Men makes a "tsk" noise, sighs heavily and picks up his drinks.)

Xiao You is running towards Mei Zuo and Dao Ming Si.
Xiao You: "Have you found him?"
Mei Zuo: "Not yet. We've looked in all places we could think of. I think you should look for him tomorrow."
Xiao You (bows): "I'm sorry for troubling you with my concerns."
Dao Ming Si: "Okay, Xiao You. Don't you know what time it is?"
Mei Zuo: "It's almost sunrise. (looks at his watch) It's 4:30AM already. Xiao You, go home first."
Xiao You: "Mei Zuo, Dao Ming Si, thank you both. It's almost daylight. I think you should both head home first because I want to search a few more pubs."
Dao Ming Si (shares a look with Mei Zuo): "Okay, Xiao You, I'll take you 
to a few more places."
Xiao You looks surprised that Ah Sz and Mei Zuo are still willing to stick with her mission.
Mei Zuo: "Let's go."

Xi Men and Lei are still talking. The bar is almost deserted.
Xi Men: "After all, the situation will be like this. So..."
Mei Zuo (walks to the bar): "Xi Men. "

Xi Men (upon seeing Xiao You trailing behind Mei Zuo): "Eh?"
Dao Ming Si: "Xi Men, what's with you? We've been looking for you for a while, don't you know that?And your phone is not connecting."
Xiao You is looking at Xi Men. Xi Men looks at her and looks almost embarrassed, shy even. 
Xi Men: "Why are you all staring at me? Am I some rare animal?"
Xiao You: "Okay, stop chatting. (grabs Xi Men's hands and pulls him) We don't have much time. Let's go." 
Xi Men (still resisting): "Go where?"
Xiao You: "Just hurry up and go!"
Xi Men: "I'm...I'm leaving first.(shouts at Xiao You) Hey! Where are we going?"
Dao Ming Si: "Hey, what's with Xiao You? Why was she looking for him so urgently?"
Mei Zuo: "Don't know."
Dao Ming Si: "Don't know! Why were you looking so intently then?"
Lei is sitting quietly, a knowing smile playing on his lips.
Mei Zuo: B"ecause I think it must be something important. (turns to Lei) Hey, what were you guys discussing?"
Lei:(looks at Mei Zuo): "Nothing.(takes the bottle beside him) Have something to drink."

Xiao you is dragging a very uncooperative Xi Men.
Xi Men (moaning): "Xiao You, where are you taking me?"
Xiao You: "Just come with me because I can't explain it."
Xi Men: "But I'm so tired. Let's go tomorrow, okay? (pulls his arm off Xiao You's grip roughly) I've been up all night."
Xiao You: "Xi Men, we must go now. It might not be on top of the building tomorrow. It's like that "very moment" you once mentioned."
Xi Men: "Yi qi hi hui."
Xiao You: "Right, that phrase. It's the building in front. Believe me, it's very important because I've found what Xiao Gen wanted you to see."
Xi Men could only stand there in silence.
Xiao You pushes the door to the rooftop roughly. She was climbing the stairs hurriedly.
Xiao You:" Hurry or it will be too late."
Xi Men is ascending the stairs slowly, hesitantly. He looks scared and unsure.
Xiao You (screams and runs): "Hurry up! It's almost too late. Walk faster."
Xi Men is now running behind Xiao You. Xiao You stops at the right spot. Xi Men is panting, his hands on his knees.
Xiao You (points across the building): "Look over there. (panting) The dark building across there. When the sun rises and reflects, you will see some words. It won't last more than three minutes. (Xi Men is breathing heavily.) This is what Xiao Gen wanted to say to you."
("Here we are" starts playing in the background again.)
Xiao You looks back at Xi Men. They stand there, waiting for the words to appear. Xi Men looks like he's on the verge of tears as the words begin to shine.
The words are: "XI MEN...MY MOST BELOVED."
Xiao You looks like she's going to cry. Xi Men is staring at it intently and then starts to smile. 
Xi Men: "Is she an idiot? Asking me to rush over this early just to see this. I'm Xi Men (his voice breaks as he struggles not to cry. He shuts his eyes, his lips trembling a little.) Idiot."
The words continue to shine brightly. Xiao You looks at Xi Men and sees him crying, his hands in his pockets. She walks back to where he is, stand beside him and looks up at him. Xi Men looks at her, smiles and wraps his right arm around her, pulling her to his side.
