Gu Li Wen (portrayed by Ru Yun Shi)
About 26-28 years old, mainly teaches piano, at night she performs at a restaurant, enjoys striving for her dream, goes forward courageously and practices the piano restlessly. Her former personality was introverted, tender, and a lady who makes a man want to protect her. After breaking up with Yi Ye she cut her hair short and she also became stronger, more lively but she is still unable to express her feelings when it comes to love. She always choosed to keep things inside her heart and endure everything alone.

She was discovered when performing at the restuarant and started to work on an album with songs composed and played by her. For a short time she separated with Qian Yong because of the two's difference of progress in work. During their temporary separation, Xiao Wen meets Yi Ye again. When she finds out that Yi Ye gave up music because of her, it causes her to regarded her guilt as love. Therefore, she ends up not knowing who to choose, Yi Ye or Qian Yong.


Lin Qian Yong (portrayed by Fan Zhi Wei)
University student, met Xiao Wen at "Nan De Hu Tu" bar and then they started to semi-cohabitted, a member of the photography society at school, also accepts some publishing houses' cases for work, hopes to become a cheif photographer, promised Xiao Wen that he'll buy her the piano she always yearned for when he gets famous.

He onced experienced a time when he didn't know what to capture and became dejected. With the help of a senior and Qiu Xue Er he found his distinguishing quality. In pictures with what seems very commonplace, it helps viewers sympathize with the person's emotions in the picture.


Qiu Xue Er (portrayed by Tian Xin)
About 20-24 years old. A pretty, talented and intelligent girl. Xue Er, with an angelic face and devilsh stature, is always the center of attention. Numerous people are after her causing people to think that she's arrogant and frivolous rich girl. But in reality, she is blunt and observant girl. As the daughter of a well-known photographer Mr. Qiu, she has her own opinions regarding photography.




Yi Ye (portrayed by Yan Cheng Xu aka Jerry Yan)
Xiao Wen's boyfriend during university. At that time he gave up music because of the pressures of the future. Xiao Wen left him because she couldn't understand him. Years later the two meet each other again. Touched by Xiao Wen's album, he resigns from his job and once again pursues his dream of being a pianist. He also tells Xiao Wen that he wants to continue with their destiny. However, during one of his performances a violent customer messed up his hand muscles and henceforth he is unable to play the piano.


Zhong Yuan (portrayed by Zhou Yu Min aka Vic Chou)
University student, a powerful opponent of Qian Yong and also an anticipated new photographer of the industry. Has a straightforward personality, has a hard to understand passion and stubborness for photography. His works pierce through a powerful vitality. Has an illicit, unclear feelings with Qiu Xue Er.




Que Tian Jian (portrayed by Zhu Xiao Tian aka Ken Chu)
Head of manufacturing of a music company, the person who discovered Xiao Wen and helped her release an album. A producer who is very strict and seeks quality.






JJ (portrayed by Wu Jian Hao aka Vanness Wu)
Manages the bar "Nan De Hu Tu," friends with Qian Yong and Xiao Wen, always listens to their problems respectively, also sees how the two's relationship progresses and matures. To the two of them he's a teacher and a friend.
