Tai Lang (Chinese Name) / Taro (Anime Name)

Played By : Vic Zhou Description : The oldest sibling in his entire family. All his brothers and sisters love him the most because he helps them all and supports them. He is the most liked boy in the entire school. His birthday is August 2, he is 17 years old, and he likes girls that look good to eat. A little odd but his favorite things are food and money so... (And his 'puppy' eyes are sooo CUTE! Especially when he pouts!! Vic looks so cute when he has his bangs covering part of his eyes!)

Ling Zi (Chinese Name) / Akayo (Anime Name)

Played By : Yi Neng Jing Description : Tai Lang's mom. She is not very smart, already has 7 kids and ends up having another 3 (triplets).

Yu Cun (Chinese Name) / Mimura (Anime Name)

Played By : Gao Hao Jun Description : Yu Cun is a rich friend of Tai Lang's, he always helps Tai Lang whenever he can, and brings Tai Lang's family food. Eventually, Yu Cun starts to like Tai Lang's younger sister, Si Mei. Yu Cun Grandpa likes Si Miu so much that he wants Yu Cun and her to get married - sort of an arranged marriage.

Sha Pu (Chinese Name) / Sugiura (Anime Name)

Played By : Liu Tian Jing Hong (Ah De of Meteor Garden II) Description : Sha Pu is another one of Tai Lang's friends. Except Sha Pu is gay and has feelings for Tai Lang. Sha Pu thought that Tai Lang was a rich boy but then he finds out that his family is very poor. He starts helping Tai Lang's family too. He came for several days in row to cook Tai Lang's family dinner. Sha Pu has a younger sister that also likes Tai Lang.

Long Zi (Chinese Name) / Takako (Anime Name)

Played By : Liu Han Ya Description : Long Zi like Tai Lang because she is poor and wants to marry a rich guy so that she can become a phoenix (don't forget everyone thinks that he is rich). When she finds out that Tai Lang is actually poor she stops talking to him and ignores him. Later she sees He Fu (Tai Lang's father) and starts liking him too. But when Long Zi sees that He Fu is a father and that he is the father of Tai Lang she stops talking to He Fu too.

He Fu (Chinese Name) / Kazou (Anime Name)

Played By : Ken Zhu Description : He Fu is Tai Lang's father and only comes home occasionally. When he came home, from Italy after 2 years, he knocked up Ling Zi again and thats when she had triplets. He is, literally, a starving artist. When he came back, Ma Di Ah (Maria) his mistress followed him (I don't think that it would be a mistress since He Fu and Ling Zi aren't married) and tried to steal him back, she likes Tai Lang also cause Tai Lang looks so much like He Fu.

Er Lang (Chinese Name) / Jiro (Anime Name)

Played By : Ou Ding Xing (Edward Ou - Qing He of Meteor Garden I and II) Description : Er Lang is the second oldest boy in the family. He tries to earn money for the family too but Tai Lang won't let him because Tai Lang wants Er Lang to get his education first so that he'll get a high paying job to support the family since their father is never home. Er Lang did hold hands with a girl for money once but Tai Lang saw and lectured him about doing that and made him promise not to anymore. Er Lang only did that because their mom was pregnant and they needed more money than ever.

San Lang (Chinese Name) / Saburo (Anime Name)

Played By : Liu Ting Xuan Description : San Lang is the third oldest boy in the family. He takes care of his sisters and Qi Lang whenever Er Lang and Tai Lang are too busy. His favorite sibling (excluding Tai Lang) is Wu Mei.

Si Mei (Chinese Name) / Yoshiko (Anime Name)

Played By : Zhang Rong Rong Description : Si Mei is the oldest girl in the family and the fourth oldest overall. She likes Yu Cun and is most like Tai Lang. Her favorite sibling is Tai Lang. She has the closest relationship with Tai Lang out of all her other siblings.

Wu Mei (Chinese Name) / Itsuko (Japanese Name)

Played By : Description : Wu Mei is the second oldest girl in the family and the fifth oldest in the family. Her favorite siblings (excluding Tai Lang) are her three older brothers. She and Si Mei mainly watch over Liu Mei and Qi Lang.

Liu Miu (Chinese Name) / Mutsuko (Japanese Name)

Played By : Peng Xin Description : Liu Mei is the third oldest girl in the family and the sixth oldest. Her favorite sibling is Wu Mei or Qi Lang.

Qi Lang (Chinese Name) / Shitaro (Japanese Name)

Played By : Chen Jie Yu Description : Qi Lang is the seventh oldest in the family. After Qi Lang there is 'Ba Mei', 'Jiu Lang', and 'Shi Mei', the triplets the mom later on.

- Sha Pu's mother was Kristy, Xi Men's father's mistress of Meteor Garden II
- Da Sha (Homosexual teacher at Tai Lang's school) was Xiao You's cheating boyfriend in Meteor Garden I and II
- Qian Wei Sha (Winnie Qian) who plays Xiao Ma (An art teacher at Tai Lang's school) was Teng Tang Jing in Meteor Garden I and II - Wang Yue was Long Zi's mother and San Cai's mother in Meteor Garden I and II
